The WHealth Program

As we move towards a 24-hour society, what affect is that going to have on us as human beings? How is it going to affect our relationships at home and work, our performance and productivity, our health and well being? Absence from work due to ill health, stress and fatigue is on the increase. Some mental and physical conditions can be related to the quality of life and lifestyle of people.

Certain natural principles and human habits will be crucial to surviving and thriving in the 24-hour society. The program is a process you can enter into to explore your lifestyle. Sound information will be vital to maintaining yourself for the rigours of this societal development. The WHealth Program is an opportunity for you to understand what information is vital to you to maintain good health, fitness, quality relationships and productivity at work and home.

Information however is not enough; human beings are created to relate and communicate, to live together, to trade and do business together and learn from each other. Our relationship with you is based on best practice work in mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. The result condenses the rich variety of human life into a program which sieve’s out the more useful and beneficial for you. That’s the crunch of this program, it’s for you, over 5 years of design work, so that the program is as individual as you are.

The WHealth Program Weekend that introduces the program is a very carefully mixed pottage of experiences, exhilarating and calming, spiritually moving and intellectually stimulating. It is 3 nights and 3 days of specialist attention. A group experience that will enable you to become more aware of how life is affecting you and give you some ideas to help you in the battle.

Using an exclusive venue in North Wales in the heart of beautiful Snowdonia come and reap the benefits of The WHealth Program.

This weekend program is part of a larger idea, dreamed up and practised by two people.

About The Facilitators

Andy Howie - the educator and learning specialist.

Andy has been working in people development for 23 years. An honours graduate in Physical Education Andy still enjoys playing veterans football at the age of 43. He practices Tai-Chi and meditation and loves to unwind in the hills and mountains. Andy is currently a tutor and on the academic board at Chester College of Higher Education Work Based Learning and Integrative Studies Department. He is managing the National Dads and Lads Project for YMCA England, and working with the Head of Education and Welfare at Liverpool F.C. Academy on a specific project.

Working with individuals and groups Andy creates opportunities for learning, development and change. In an increasingly complex and stressful world Andy is particularly skilful in enabling others in sustaining personal health and developing quality relationships at work and at home.

John Grafton - the therapist and health specialist.

John is a qualified RMN and has a considerable depth of experience in counselling and groupwork, enabling anyone who has contact with him to benefit from the impact of the programmes and services he offers.

His training and work in Psychodrama enable his programmes to be "action" orientated, where relevant, resulting in exciting, interesting and meaningful learning opportunities for participants.
